Christine's Background
Christine Lillo, a Sioux Falls native, is an Advanced Certified Paralegal with deep experience in estate planning, probate, trust administration, real estate, business transactions, and Medicaid planning. She brings a detail-driven, client-focused approach to her work, supporting both attorneys and clients through often complex and highly personal legal matters.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from South Dakota State University and an Associate of Applied Science in Legal Assistant Studies (with honors) from Kilian Community College. She also earned a Certificate in Elder Law from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. In addition to being a NALA Certified Paralegal, she holds Advanced Certified Paralegal credentials in Estate Planning & Probate, Business Organizations: Incorporated Entities, and Business Organizations: Non-corporate Entities.
Chris is a dedicated advocate for the paralegal profession, both locally and nationally. She is a Past President of the South Dakota Paralegal Association and currently serves on the NALA Certifying Board, where she is also a past chair. Her leadership also includes serving on the NALA Board of Directors, helping to shape the Certified Paralegal Program, and promoting excellence in the profession.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering with professional organizations, traveling, and curling up with a good book.
