Meet Anna

Anna grew up in Littleton, Colorado and moved to South Dakota in 2001. She graduated from the University of South Dakota with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and a minor in psychology.  She then pursued her Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Dakota School of Law and graduated with High Honor.  On top of being a graduate assistant to two professors, she was published twice and was Managing Editor for the South Dakota Law Review .  After obtaining numerous achievements, scholarships, and awards during law school, Anna clerked for eleven judges in the Second Circuit Court of South Dakota. 

Anna practices in the area of general litigation and enjoys navigating numerous areas of the law.  She works with clients to help them understand the process of litigation and trial. Her strong personality and drive assists her in finding creative solutions to address problems and standing up for clients when it matters.  In just the past year, she obtained a $7 million judgment for a client in an Iowa Court and won a jury trial in South Dakota for another client. 

Anna is active in two committees for the State Bar Association of South Dakota: The Civil Pattern Jury Instruction Committee and Law School Committee.  She obtained the award of Great Plains Rising Star in 2022 and 2023.  

Anna lives just north of Beresford, South Dakota with her husband, two children, and two golden retrievers.
